AC Milan are serious about building a new stadium in the shortest possible timeframe as Gerry Cardinale’s presence in the city earlier in the week showed.
According to the latest from MilanNews, the Rossoneri have chosen global giant CAA Icon as consultants on the stadium issue, a company who are among the international leaders in the construction of state-of-the-art sports facilities.
Among the projects that they have been involved in are the O2 Arena in London, the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, the Milwaukee Bucks Entertainment District, the Rose Bowl in Pasadena and other mega stadiums for American sports.
CAA Icon are a division of CAA Sports who have over 90 employees, more than 55 sports, entertainment, and public assembly projects, and over 2,000 consulting engagements. They have managed the development of many of the most successful venues around the world, spanning 11 professional sports leagues, totaling nearly $40 billion.
But not a ton of experience with European football stadiums it seems…
