AC Milan are getting closer and closer to signing Chelsea winger Hakim Ziyech on a loan deal this summer, a report claims.
As has been reported by Corriere della Sera (via Milan News) today, the Rossoneri are very serious about signing Ziyech and he could be the first major deal that they complete this summer that isn’t a free transfer.
Stefano Pioli has asked the club for quality reinforcements in the attacking midfield area and it seems that Ziyech is the closest to joining first.
The formula would be a loan for one season with a mandatory future fee already agreed to make the deal permanent next summer.
The former Ajax winger has not been able to secure a regular place in the team under Thomas Tuchel at Chelsea and is keen to pursue a move.
He would certainly offer a new level of quality on the right-hand side of the Rossoneri attack.
