Di Marzio: Milan send official communication to Liverpool regarding intention to sign striker

Divock Origi now seems certain to be AC Milan’s first signing of the summer with the management having officially communicated their intention to sign him.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio (via PianetaMilan), the Rossoneri’s interest in Divock Origi is well known but an important step came recently as the management sent an official communication via email to Liverpool to express their willingness to offer the Belgian striker a deal.

In order to showa willingness to set up a negotiation for a player – even if on a free transfer with their contract expiring – it is necessary to present an official communication during which the interested club (Milan in this case) must warn the player’s current club (Liverpool) that they are in talks.

Origi’s request to Milan was €4.5m net per year, but at €4m it could be closed. Origi has said yes to the idea of joining the Rossoneri and now the parties just need to find a full economic agreement.

  1. Did others send us any notification before poaching our players? Must you do this? I just hope Liverpool don’t take up there one year option just like chelsea did in the giroud saga

    1. No, you don’t need to send any notif if the player out of contract. Origi contract still not expired yet so we send notif to Liverpool, while Donna and lord Hakan no club’ interesting pre contract them and just wait till their contract expire. For kessie ,that Barca already send notif too, for Romagnoli no club’ send notif because still no agreement. I read sky sport and some Barca fan page that they already send notif to AC Milan for signing kessie next season and AC Milan can do nothing because no one year option like Giroud option ( in his previous club’ Chelsea)
