AC Milan are looking for pieces to strengthen their attack ahead of next season and are still expected to close the signing of Divock Origi, a report claims.
The Rossoneri management know it is a necessity to bolster the attacking options and specifically the centre-forward department where there is currently only Olivier Giroud (35) and Zlatan Ibrahimovic (40) who are able to play the role, plus the inexperienced 18-year-old Marko Lazetic.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews), it has been clear for some time that Origi is very close to joining Milan on a free transfer ahead of next season as he will leave Liverpool when his deal expires.
An agreement over terms was found some time ago and all that remains is for a few details to be resolved, so a meeting could be set as early as next week to successfully conclude the negotiation.
