There are two big moments coming up for AC Milan as they will first play in the Supercoppa against Inter and then will continue negotiations over Rafael Leao’s renewal.
That is according to Calciomercato.com, who report that Ted Dimvula – a lawyer who holds the power of attorney for Rafael Leao – should meet with the management of the Rossoneri to discuss the future of the Portuguese winger.
The confidence of directors Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara regarding the possibility of reaching an agreement has ‘never been higher’ as per the report, with the objective of closing a deal by the end of the month.
Leao has already indicated that he is in favour of extending his contract with a substantial increase in wages. Milan are offering a salary of €7m net per season (including bonuses) but knows that now some fundamental and preparatory aspects will have to be resolved to get to a signature.
The first is to resolve the dispute involving agent Jorge Mendes on commissions, and the second is the release clause and whether it will stay at the current €150, be raised or reduced, or removed altogether. This is why the summit with Dimvula on Friday at Casa Milan will be decisive.
Yeah ofc its higher, it was on a crazy low
