AC Milan want a Club Brugge forward to bolster the attack ahead of the 2022-23 season but it is not Noa Lang, according to a report.
La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews) reported last week that Lang is a target for the Rossoneri and the plan is to agree personal terms with the 22-year-old Dutchman before convincing Brugge to let him go for around €20m rather than the current €25m asking price.
However, Calciomercato.com claim that his team-mate Charles De Ketelaere is more of a target for Milan than Lang at the moment, as they are very attentive to the growth of the Belgian club’s talents. De Ketelaere has 17 goals and 9 assists in 41 games across all competitions so far this season.
Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara believe that the 21-year-old attacking midfielder, with his physicality and talent, would represent an alternative with different characteristics to the players currently in the squad.
€45m for both of them is a bargain. Especially when we can get most players we need for free. Kamara, Belloti, Bondo, Origi, Fabio Carvalho etc.
Sadly, its him alone with the pricetag of €45m, not a package, he’s a talent that we need at cam too

Getting Charles De Ketelaere now is like buying Amazon right before you figured out “hey, this online shopping thing might actually work!” If you don’t do it you’ll spend a lifetime in regret. If Milan doesn’t get this kid it’ll be the worst thing to happen to the club since Maldini had to hang up his boots. This kid is primed to become “Kaka, but taller.”
If that’s true how come the English clubs haven’t bought him already? I am not very familiar with the Belgium league and don’t know how competitive has become recently. Anyway, I trust Maldini and the current management. We need to have a responsible and balanced transfer window. There were also the likes of Scamaca, Berardi, Ekitike etc

Not sure about this De Ketelaere. He looks too raw. I think he need another year with Brugge
if you wana play UCL in spring you need to take that risk in these days. Of course renato sanches can be of great help from start, but 6mio salary, just looking for retire contract.
I would like the teenager way much….and i am happy that maldini has to follow Elliot, otherwise Cristante and Veretout would be part of the team next season.
