Repubblica: Milan consider hiring Vlahovic’s personal trainer to try stop injury woes

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan want to do something about the repeated injury problems that they are battling and they are thinking of freshening up their staff, a report claims.

The injury problem cannot fill Milan with much confidence at the moment, especially the Mike Maignan saga and the injury to his left calf which has now lasted for three and a half months and which still seems to be far away from being remedied.

According to La Repubblica (via Calciomercato.com), there is talk of adding a so-called head of performance in the group, a guru of athletic training to try and help the players manage their bodies better.

The leading name at the moment is Andreja Milutinovic. The 43-year-old from Serbia is very highly regarded and is in fact the personal trainer who looks after the Juventus striker, Dusan Vlahovic.

Whether it be Milutinovic or another figure, it does seem clear that Milan need some intervention to try and end their constant injury woes.

  1. They should look at Dojovic’s personal trainer. Djokovic is rarely injured and tennis players put their lower bodies under tremendous strain.
