AC Milan are considering a move for Napoli’s Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa as a potential midfield target, it is claimed.
According to Pietro Balzano Prato of MilanVibes (via MN24), the name of Zambo Anguissa has begun to circulate in circles close to Milan. The Cameroonian midfielder is now considered on his way out of Napoli, with the Neapolitan club ready to evaluate concrete offers ahead of 2026-27.

Allegri alerted
While the main links at the moment regarding a midfield addition involve Leon Goretzka, something like Anguissa could provide a bit of extra muscle in the mezzala role, something that Massimiliano Allegri would appreciate.
At this stage, there are no formal negotiations between the two clubs, but Milan’s interest is there are the Napoli man would also bring some experience, both in terms of winning the Scudetto and competing in the Champions League.
While waiting to understand Napoli’s financial demands in view of an important summer mercato, Milan remains on the sidelines, ready to turn this idea into a concrete negotiation should the right conditions arise.
Milan were first linked with a move for Anguissa all the way back in 2020 when he was playing for Fulham in the Premier League. The 30-year-old has racked up 174 appearances for the Partenopei, with 15 goals and 20 assists to his name.
Meanwhile, Cameroon-based source CNA have posted the following: “Several teams are showing interest in Zambo Anguissa as the midfielder is at the verge of leaving Napoli. The Italian giants have said they are open to offers.
“Galatasaray, Besiktas, Sunderland and AC Milan are all in the race for the Cameroonian. The 30-year-old has been at Napoli since 2021.”

We’ll need three new midfielders if they decide to sell someone besides RLC- 7 MC in the season to come is a bare minimum given the fact that we’ll have one more competition on our plates and the hardest one possible at the same time. If our goal is to make the squad competitive and meaningful, this is something we must strive to because it’s a logical thing to do from every single point of view.
Three???
You want a bigger squad than a rugby squad???
IF we SELL TWO, YES. Everything is explained here, there’s an absolute and objective need & request for a squad of 27 players, give or take.
you do realize that to participate in 3 comps you need rotation, and to rotate you need more available players to rotate from, right? This isn’t rocket science. We’ll need 27-28 players who can contribute. Not just junk on the bench.
Good signing.
Is Napoli crazy? Their best players in last few seasons…
This is one of the mistakes of Maldini, I remember when he was offered to us then when we needed Kessie replacement, some of us who saw him at Fulham mounted pressure for Maldini to sign him because he would have been a very good replacement for Kessie but no, instead he preferred to sign Bakayoko.
It will require double the amount he was offered to us back then for us to sign him now.
Dear Lord… Take anyone from Ederson, Thuram, Manu Kone, Anguissa for midfield over or in addition to Goretzka.
Keep Fofana for rotation. Sell Ricci, Bondo, RLC, Musah, Terraciano, Bennacer. Cash out on Chukwueze.
Milan has to play with a small squad or register 8 homegrown players in CL. So 17 players + 4 + 4. There is no universe in which they sell Ricci and keep Fofana…
Sell Ricci bring in Fagioli. Keep Fofana. But hey, money talks, right?
Terraciano also has a chance to stay there next season for the same reason. And him playing a bunch of positions already so he could be useful.
