CM: Milan convinced they will sign midfielder as he gives total approval to summer move

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan feel confident that they will sign Renato Sanches from Lille to replace Franck Kessie before next season, according to a report.

It is no secret now that Kessie is heading into the last few months of his contract and is currently very unlikely to extend it, which means the Milan management do not want to be caught unprepared and therefore they are working ahead of time to get a deal lined up for the man who will take his spot.

That man is Portugal international Renato Sanches who has been in fine form since joining Lille from Bayern Munich, and Calciomercato.com report how Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara made a concrete attempt in the last few days of the January mercato to sign him for the second half of the season, but were unable to convince Lille.

Nonetheless, the 24-year-old remains the main candidate to take over from Kessie and the management are strengthened by the player’s total approval regarding the idea of a switch to the Diavolo, and the Rossoneri are convinced they will reach the finish line by the end of the season.

      1. Maybe he want this club sign ngolo Kante wkwkwk. Just joking we can only sign player below 8m euro/ season salary and cannot pay more than 40m euro transfer

  1. When we played against them, Sanches absolutely bossed Kessie, it wasn’t even close, he’s like a Kessie 2.0, Strong, good tackler more athletic, would be a big upgrade imo

  2. Pls Maldini, lets keep kessie. We just av to keep him. If ibra can be collecting that huge amount and doesn’t play four to five matches at times bcos injury, then lets think of kessie that plays week in -week out, he deserves the money.

    1. How dare you compare Kessie with Ibra? Ibra is a champion, he is a leader and he is of absolute class.

Kessie is not even close to that.

    2. Are you gone mad!!!!!!
You are comparing the waste(Kessie) with Ibra. Just by his name itself, Milan get more than what they pay him.

There is no better player in this team before Ibra arrival, he made the rats into lions.

Most of the salary of Ibra are in bonuses, if Ibra can’t play minimum number of games, score goals he will not be paid 7m. His base salary around 3 to 4m.

Kessie is just one season player, which is over. All this season he is shit player. Even krunic has better season than Kessie. Last year Donna left to clean rich assess of Psg bench and we got better goal keeper as MM16 Mikey.
This year Kessie will leave and we will be covered by better player in Sanchez

    3. You don’t watch kessie after we buy him from Atalanta in the hand of coach Montella,Gattuso,Giampaolo? He is awful for almost 3 season and only play good last season. This season he is awful again due to not focus for this club anymore, his mind already on other club for big salary and commission free transfer. You want mercenary player like that earned highest AC Milan salary? After we give him 8m euro now ,he Will ask 10-12 m euro in the next new contract. Just move on and believe in Paolo Maldini & moncada to find kessie replacement

    4. What kind of plebs compares Ibrahimovic with Kessie??? Ofcourse ibra is old af, but his positive aura affects the whole team even from the stands. Its like having vladmir putin watch you at work.

Kessie on the other hand, shows that he is not loyal, inconsistent, greedy, back stabber and doesnt give a shit about Milan. He even wants to delay transfer to June, just because he want FREE SIGNING BONUS. i hate him, i better many players hate him too but u cant talk shit about ur co-worker

  3. Our problm as fans is our sentiment towards IBRA.. Sanchez is better but always injured.. Kessie already understands the system an he is growing into it..
    I would still prefer kessie…
