GdS: Milan increasingly convinced by Sesto idea for new stadium – negotiations ongoing

By Oliver Fisher -

One of the main objectives of Gerry Cardinale for AC Milan is to build a new stadium and the idea of doing one without Inter is gathering serious momentum.

That is according to reports from La Gazzetta dello Sport (via PianetaMilan) who talk about how the Sesto San Giovanni area seems to be the most attractive to the Rossoneri leadership at the moment.

There is open negotiation with the owners of the former Falck steelworks site in Sesto to lower the purchase price of the area but at the same time there are parallel discussions about the idea of renting the land.

Cardinale and RedBird want to make a decision on where to build by the April at the latest while all the other options for the construction of a new stadium clearly remain valid, including a shared one with Inter in the San Siro area.
