Tuttosport: Milan shopping in France again with Ligue 1 trio targeted for the summer

By Oliver Fisher -

The French influence at AC Milan could be set to grow even greater as the management have targeted three more players from Ligue 1, according to a report.

Tuttosport talk about how Milan are back in the Scudetto pursuit thanks to Giroud’s brace, Maignan’s saves plus Kalulu and Theo Hernandez’s interventions. Ricky Massara and Geoffrey Moncada can therefore afford to smile at the exploits of the French players they have recruited, without forgetting that Leao came from Lille and Bennacer was born in France too.

The scouting department always attentive to the best talents in Ligue 1, and they have no hesitation in sounding out French players who seem to have high potential for the future, with this summer seemingly no exception.

The Milan management want to sign Sven Botman for the defence, Renato Sanches for the midfield and Jonathan David for the attacking department to build on the amount of players who are either from France or have some kind of link to Ligue 1. How much the Lille trio would cost, though, remains to be seen.
