Journalist Di Caro on Milan: “De Ketelaere has arrived, the team has strengthened”

Italian journalist Andrea Di Caro has said that AC Milan have been strengthened by the arrival of Charles De Ketelaere but there is still work to do.

The deputy director of La Gazzetta dello Sport was speaking during an interview with TMW Radio (via Milan News) when he discussed the arrival of De Ketelaere.

The Belgian attacking midfielder has not officially signed yet but he is expected to arrive in Milan on Monday to start undergoing his medical examinations and he will likely be announced on the following day.

Di Caro mentioned the arrival and praised the number of talented youngsters that are in the Rossoneri ranks.

“After a long wait-and-see process, De Ketelaere has arrived. Milan has a team structure of talented youngsters who guarantee a future,” Di Caro said.

He then went on to say that the team has been strengthened by signing the Belgian player but the squad does still need to be improved with the rest of the summer transfer budget.

“It is a team that has been strengthened but with the budget that remains, they will have to enrich the squad,” he said.

Milan are working on deals for a defender and a midfielder.
