AC Milan defender Sergino Dest underwent personalised training on Tuesday ahead of the match against RB Salzburg but he is still expected to play, a report claims.
As has been reported by Calciomercato.com, the American right-back is still working his way back from a minor injury and that is why he did his own training at Milanello rather than just being with the group the entire time.
Despite that, he is still expected to play against the Austrian side in the crucial Champions League game where the Rossoneri need just a point to assure safe passage into the Round of 16.
He may not start the game because Stefano Pioli could put Pierre Kalulu at right back and use Fikayo Tomori and Simon Kjaer as the centre-backs. If that is not the case though, Dest will be the starter.
The game kicks off at 21:00 local time in Italy on Wednesday night.
