AC Milan have already got approval from Abdou Diallo about a move but the Rossoneri must agree on a loan formula with Paris Saint Germain, a report claims.
As has been reported by Il Giornale today (via Milan News), the Rossoneri are very keen to make the Senegalese defender part of their squad as they need more depth in that area.
He seems to be the favoured target rather than Tottenham Hotspur’s Japhet Tanganga but there is still work to do.
It seems that agreeing on personal terms with the 26-year-old will not be very difficult as he has already endorsed the move.
Milan have proposed a loan deal with an obligation to buy but the French side could want to sell him outright in this window.
If they decide to accept the loan formula, they will then have to agree on the fee. Milan are not swimming in cash after the Charles De Ketelaere deal.
Diallo > Tanganga as the former is left-footed, which is one of the more important attributes needed in an incoming CB to replace Romagnoli.
