Questions are being asked across the pitch about AC Milan, and perhaps, the most pressing area is regarding the strike force and its future.
With Milan looking at options for the No.9 role, it leads to questions about the current status of the squad. Whilst there are four strikers present, there are questions attached to each, both in the short and long-term future.
Nevertheless, the Rossoneri do not feel there is a lack of a ’20 goal’ striker, according to reports from Calciomercato.com. Instead, they believe that Morata can reach 20 contributions this season, which will be as effective, if not more.
For this reason, it limits the need in their eyes for a new striker, which could disappoint fans as suggested in a recent feature. Above all, though, the club are making decisions for their own future – Francesco Camarda.
The 16-year-old remains the club’s gem and it is hoped he will become a ‘real’ striker. However, the situation must be right for this to happen. For example, investing in a young striker could halt his progress and route into the No.9 space.
June could see the club invest, but that route revolves around Abraham and his future. Should an investment be made, Geoffrey Moncada would look to Santiago Gimenez, who the club still like.
A one-in-one-out idea.
With Luka Jovic, his expected departure will not trigger the club to make a move for someone desperately, instead, the strategy would remain the same. A telling summary of his current position.

It’s not about a 20 goals ST or not. It’s about having attackers (st, rw,lw, am) that will contribute 20 a season.
Scoring goals is not really our problem. Our problem is, for many years now, a leaky defense.
That ofc comes from a shîty built team. We can’t keep leaking goals. And we have one of the best gk between the post’s but he can only do so much
Nicely summed up. Nothing to add.
Utter nonsense, and honestly just a far fetched excuse.
Camarda is 16 and we do not know if he will step up or not, most child stars do not.
IF he does, great, that will take another 4 or 5 years for him to develop
Of course he can contribute in that time.
We need an actual striker in their prime like Osimhen (I know we wont buy him).
Then as Camarda develops, the torch will pass, as in any decent club
Some say we don’t have a problem scoring, thats not true.
We score and concede against low class teams.
Against good teams we struggle.
CL last year
Dominated Newcastle – could not score
Played well v Dortmund – could not score
Lost 3-0 to PSG – could not score
By the 4th round we were the only team in the competition that had not scored, and this was with a lot of chances.
That is the difference between top players/strikers and the rest, it’s about levels
In those games we didn’t score because it was early season and players weren’t in form.
Martinez was fire last year for merde, this one not so much. An expensive striker is no guarantee for 20+ goals and goals vs top teams.
How many goals does nunez have for Liverpool?
It’s all about tactics when breaking down a top team and we didn’t have those under pioli and fonseca is no different. Sure we won vs inter and real but both of those were not in from at all

You more or less named the only games where we didn’t score and last season in the 3-0, PSG was beating us from pillar to post, attack wasn’t the problem, EVERYTHING was the problem.
Even this season, we scored against pretty much everyone not named Leverkusen in Germany where we conceided play for almost an hour and Napoli against whom we had 5 absentees. We scored in every other game but when you conceide 2 goals in each game against the likes of Parma, Torino, Fiorentina and Lazio or when you draw against Cagliari despite scoring 3 goals, clearly attack isn’t the biggest problem here.
So far Fonseca’s problem is him being unable to set us for anything rather than parking the bus and playing on counters. Each time we played high and tried to have possession, we were badly exposed. Him changing center back pairing each game doesn’t help them getting well with each other, and the way he sets us up makes us vulnerable on the wings.
Now the fact that every defender we have aside from Gabbia is currently mediocre (and I’m counting Theo with the mediocre), that the closest thing we have to a defensive midfielder is a box to box midfielder, that our best midfielder can’t defend to save his life and that every other midfielder is pretty much garbage doesn’t help us well defensively.
Ship Tammy back and get Jon David on free in the summer. Camarda can be 3rd striker/futuro for next couple of seasons..
