AC Milan are very close to saying goodbye to Jens Petter Hauge as Eintracht Frankfurt will soon secure their top flight status, a report claims.
Gianluca Di Marzio recalls how Hauge was allowed to leave last summer and he joined the Bundesliga side on a loan with option to buy deal that becomes an obligation under a certain condition, and that condition is Eintracht Frankfurt avoiding relegation.
Eintracht are on 39 points in the table meaning one victory is enough to be sure of mathematically staying in the in the Bundesliga, so with a win Hauge – who has 21 appearances, 2 goals and 2 assists in the league this season – will make his permanent move.
The figures are as follows: a €2m loan fee, with the permanent deal costing €8m and €5m bonuses upon reaching certain objectives, plus 15 percent of the proceeds on a future resale. A nice little treasure that will soon be available to Milan.
And then eintracht will try to negotiate halve the fee because he didn’t reach double figures goals and the club didn’t qualify for UCL.
we can say NO. 12M was signed for. 12M is what we need!
The option becomes obligation after their safety in the top tier so they cannot negotiate as they are contractually obligated to pay. If those figures are correct, this was a brilliant move by Maldini and company. I am sure many will disagree with me, I don’t think he will ever be sold for more so it is the best we could have hoped for. I could be wrong but from what I have seen of Hauge, I doubt it.
