MN: Milan expected to announce €30-35m per year agreement while in Dubai

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are expected to emerge from their preseason training camp in Dubai with a new sponsorship deal agreed, according to a report.

Pietro Mazzara writes in his column for MilanNews that Giorgio Furlani will begin his mandate as CEO – succeeding Ivan Gazidis – with the task of taking the club to the next level from a commercial standpoint with new and richer agreements.

Gerry Cardinale opted for continuity by appointing Furlani but RedBird are already working to increase revenues, and the movements made by the club in the first months under the new management go in that direction.

Mazzara adds that it is probable that during the tour in Dubai the renewal of Milan’s contract with Emirates will be announced, which will see the airline increase their payment to €30-35m per year to be the main shirt sponsor of the men’s first team.

From 1 January, the Rossoneri will be able to count on the fixed €30m a year from PUMA as the first team kit manufacturer.
