AC Milan are in talks with Tiemoue Bakayoko over ending his loan spell at the club early, according to a report from one journalist.
Bakayoko returned to Milan on a two-year loan from Chelsea in the summer of 2021 having impressed under Gattuso in 2018-19, but he made just 18 appearances in all competitions for a total of 607 minutes last season, and this season he is yet to make a competitive appearance.
With the January transfer window now open, it provides an opportunity for the Milan management to discuss the future of the Frenchman given that he is not a part of Stefano Pioli’s plans as the repeated snubs show.
According to Mike McGrath of the Daily Telegraph, Bakayoko in talks with Milan to end his loan deal from Chelsea. The Premier League side are willing to let the former Monaco midfielder move to another club on a free transfer, which could open up some possibilities.
