AC Milan will meet with the entourage of Olivier Giroud in the coming weeks to agree the renewal of his contract, a report claims.
Giroud has had a golden 2022 for club and country as he scored some crucial goals to help guide Milan to their first Scudetto in 11 years and also became the top scorer in the history of the French national team, scoring a winner in the World Cup semi-final against England.
According to Tuttosport (via MilanNews) this morning, in the next few weeks the Milan management will also meet the agents of Giroud, who will be offered a contract renewal for another season, therefore until June 2024.
He will get a pay rise in recognition of what he has done in the last year and a half and the role he has in the current squad as a leader, with the expectation being that the parties will continue their journey together.

Giroud is class ,world class ,inside the 18 yard area he is simply the best .He holds up play so well to allow wide players to have space to play in .He certainly deserves a pay rise..He will score around 20 goals this season ,not a bad return.Rafeol leao will do the same .
It looks hopefully the leao will remain this season ,and that’s vital if we are to win the scuddeto this season .
We can win it again ,make no mistake about that .
Plenty more goals to come from Olivier Giroud.
