Milan face difficult stretch of 7 games in 21 days after Man Utd Europa League draw

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have a very difficult 21-day stretch coming up starting with Sunday’s trip to the capital to face Roma.

Before the international break at the end of March, Milan will have a very busy schedule when factoring in their league and Europa League commitments. Stefano Pioli’s Rossoneri will in fact be involved in seven matches in 21 days and will play a match every three days.

It starts on February 28 when Milan face Roma at the Olimpico, and the following midweek Udinese visit San Siro for a midweek game under the lights. A trip to Verona follows on the Sunday, with the first leg of the Round of 16 tie against Manchester United coming on the 11.

Napoli come to Milan on 14 March, with the return leg against United four days after that, and the difficult stretch is capped off with a visit to Fiorentina on March 21.
