The Stadio MarcAntonio Bentegodi could well be taken over by AC Milan fans for Sunday’s game which has huge ramifications in the Scudetto race.
Calciomercato.com report how the Milan supporters can feel that the Scudetto is getting closer and they want to help Stefano Pioli’s team along in these last three rounds of the season, starting with the game against Hellas Verona this weekend.
The Bentegodi stadium is already sold out and at least half of the over 31,000 spectators will be AC Milan fans, with around 16,000 being the latest predicted number, but this in itself could see problems arise.
The possible problem is related to public order because in addition to filling the away sector (2,600 seats) and the north section reserved for away fans, the Rossoneri supporters will be scattered throughout the rest of the stadium in close contact with those from Verona.
The National Observatory did not reveal any critical issues and gave the green light to the sale of tickets without restrictions from the authorities, however various precedents mean the utmost attention must be paid to avoid the risk of possible clashes inside and outside the stadium.
Invasion… LOL
Forza Milan
