Theo Hernandez has seemingly remained committed to the idea of an extension with AC Milan, but things could change.
In football, things can change very quickly, whether it is due to you or another party. In the case of Theo’s renewal, it could be a case of the latter – something which would leave Milan looking very red-faced.
Gazzetta dello Sport, this morning, write that the Frenchman has a desire to stay in Milano, and could even renew his contract on the club’s terms, rather than the initial figures he was seeking – which would be massive.
However, Corriere dello Sport (via Pianeta Milan) reports that things could be shaken up by Real Madrid. Yesterday, reports suggested Los Blancos could make a move, and this would ‘change the cards on the table’.
In fact, there is a fear that Theo could ‘falter’, as a result. It would seemingly be reliant on a renewal not being achieved, however, news of Madrid’s interest and a romantic homecoming could be enough for his ideas to change.
Considering there has been a year of consistent talk about a potential renewal, if the Frenchman does opt to move back to Madrid, the blame would lie on the Diavolo for taking too long.
