AC Milan are prioritising a move for Charles De Ketelaere and only then will they turn full attention to Hakim Ziyech, according to a report.
Speaking on Sky (via MilanNews), Luca Marchetti talked about Milan’s transfer strategies for the attack, revealing that Milan are currently ‘focused on De Ketelaere’. While Ziyech is a player considered ‘very important’ by Milan and therefore a concrete target, he is currently part of the negotiations that are ‘aside’.
Milan will sign a player in that area of the pitch, and it is De Ketelaere that is the main target because of his talent, young age, resale potential, ambition and his quality. He fits perfectly with the aim to build a Milan already strong now but with margins also linked to the growth of individuals and the team.
Therefore, it seems that Milan will pursue the Belgian playmaker first and foremost before then potentially turning to the Morocco international as either an extra signing or an alternative.
