GdS: Milan forward could be set for Bundesliga departure this summer

By Euan Burns -

AC Milan forward Ante Rebic could be set to leave the club this summer with a number of Bundesliga clubs thought to be interested, a report claims.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport (via Milan News), the Croatian forward is not a central part of the plan at Milan and he could be on his way out at the end of the season.

He has not performed at a consistent level for the past two seasons and it is believed that he would be happy to leave. Whilst no specific club is mentioned, a return to the Bundesliga is very possible.

Rebic played his best football whilst at Eintracht Frankfurt in Germany. Milan paid €6.7 million to make his loan at the club permanent in 2020 but the 29-year-old could be leaving.

He has played 14 times in Serie A this season with the majority coming from the bench. He has scored three goals and got two assists in the league.

  1. Rebic is constantly useless. That’s his only constant. His movements are just wrong for football. Maybe he should try another sport…

    1. Well he scored more goals than most players at Milan at the same time, I’d like more useless players that somehow will score in the end. And comparing his total stats in Serie A with someone like Giroud says something. Either they are both bad or good. You have to decide…

  2. We need to have a replacement before we get rid of him.
No point in it if we have to spend what litttle funds Redturd allocate.
If he leaves now we will get litttle or nothing for him.
So unless we are promoting Traore to first team or getting a backup on a free we can’t afford to replace him.
Holes in the squad are appearing faster than they are being plugged
