CM: Hauge’s future becoming clearer – how his obligation to buy would be triggered

By Oliver Fisher -

The exit of Jens Petter Hauge to Eintracht Frankfurt in the summer transfer window divided opinion, but some might have forgotten he is technically a loanee.

The talent of Rafael Leão and the presence of an experienced player like Ante Rebic led Milan to make the decision to sell Hauge but not because he was totally surplus to requirements, rather because it was the best solution for all parties.

Hauge had arrived from Bodo/Glimt for €4.5m and his permanent sale would generate a rich capital gain, as an agreement was reached with Eintracht Frankfurt on the basis of €10m plus bonuses that can reach around €12m, as per Calciomecato.com.

According to what is being reported by the same source, Hauge’s future will indeed be red and black, but it will be with Eintracht and not Milan. That is because the Norwegian talent will be bought permanently by the Bundesliga club once they seal their top flight status for another season.

Eintracht currently sit nine points above the relegation zone and are in 9th place in the table so relegation is not an immediate risk, with the obligation to buy therefore increasingly likely to be triggered. Hauge has 3 goals and 1 assist in 17 games for Frankfurt, having been injured for the past few weeks.

  1. From 4.5 million to 10-12 million. That’s a nice profit 😊

But he only got 3 goals and 1 assists from 17 games. Lol, didn’t Hauge fanboys said he would scores tons of goals & assists if he got more playing time? So what’s the excuses right now? 😁

    1. He is not a striker let that stick to your brain. And moreover out of 17 games and he scored 3goals g
I don’t think is bad bro.

    2. Well it is a nice little capital gain, but I struggle to see your point, 17 games isn’t a lot and i think most people where referring to his future not the first games lol

  2. He was the reason we played in Europe after a goood while of watching… he is still a top talent, and never should’ve been sold for that ridiculous amount of 10 potential 12M. You can’t get a young talent like him for that money. Especially for Serie A you need at least 1year of accommodation, and he barely had that chance.. what about A Silva ,he became a monster in Bundesliga ,but we chose Rebic instead who scored few goals and stayed injured most of the time.. the bottom point is ,they both should’ve been in Milan team today, but unfortunately they’re both gone.. we rather loose players for free than make everything possible to keep them. This is not Milan I know. Now we’re also looking into J David ,which we should’ve sign 2years ago from Genk. We need to change this mentality of making 2M ( kerkez) 8M (hauge) profit. We should’ve paid Kessie whatever he want and sell his asshole in the summer for 50M ,that’s a profit, same applies to Dollarumma. Don’t loose them for 0.
