CorSera: Milan have offer ready for Ibrahimovic and want Sassuolo striker regardless

By Oliver Fisher -

As we move towards the end of the season, Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s future continues to generate a lot of speculation but AC Milan seem happy for him to stay, a report claims.

According to this morning’s edition of il Corriere della Sera (via MilanNews), Ibrahimovic will have a big say on his future and it will be up to him to make a decision on what he thinks is best given the numerous and frequent physical problems he has battled over the last couple of seasons.

The Swede has not yet made a choice yet, especially after his country were eliminated from World Cup qualifying contention, but Milan have already prepared a draft contract for the 40-year-old that would see him stay for another year.

The fixed amount would be lowered to €2.5m net for the 2022-23 season and there would be bonuses based on appearances and goals, but in the mean time the management are looking around and aiming for a young talent like Gianluca Scamacca, who could arrive regardless of Zlatan’s final decision.
