AC Milan have requested information on Lyon forward Tete as a possible alternative target to Chelsea’s Hakim Ziyech, a report claims.
As has been reported by CM.it today, the Rossoneri are refusing to put all of their eggs into one basket by just pursuing Ziyech to bolster the attack.
Tete joined Lyon last March from Shakhtar Donetsk in a move that was promoted by the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Tete was one of a host of foreign players who were allowed to leave the country and play football elsewhere.
He is on loan until June 2023 but he has lost his starting place for the French side in recent weeks. Shakhtar are willing to reevaluate the player’s future as early as the winter transfer window.
His deal with Shakhtar runs out in December 2023 so this January could be their final chance to cash in on the Brazilian who is only 22 years old.
Tete again is good pick but you have to bid for him and Arda güler if just “scouting” then leave it
