AC Milan could battle city rivals Inter for the signing of Atalanta defender Giorgio Scalvini in the summer, according to a report.
As InterLive report, Inter already know that they must replace Milan Skriniar who has decided to accept a move to Paris Saint-Germain on a free transfer, which leaves the Nerazzurri with a very big gap to fill given the influence of the Slovakian.
However, it will not be easy for Inter to sign Scalvini from Atalanta because of the competition and the asking price. Milan could also launch their candidacy to sign the 19-year-old but only in the event that they Pierre Kalulu abroad for a figure of €40-45m.
If the Rossoneri were to accept such a bid they would have the liquidity to try and land Scalvini, given that Atalanta are expected to demand a similar to amount to what the potential price of what the Frenchman might go for. However, these are only hypotheses at the moment.

Kalulu play on much higher level than Scalvini. Scalvini is like potential defender who might have or might never reach level of Kalulu current play. So, in this article is written that Milan should sell Kalulu for 40mill and buy Scalvini for 40 mill.
Why would Milan Offload one of best player for price which would be the same as buy out price for Scalvini?
They are not saying Scalvini is worth 40M. They are saying we will only go after him IF we sell Kalulu for 40M. This kid Scalvini isn’t worth 40M lol – I doubt he is worth even 12-15M. scalvini holds a valuation of 20 mil on transfermarkt and knowing atalanta im sure they would demand minimum 40 mil for the 19 year old italy international but look at the source its freaking called ” InterLive” – does that seriously sound like a credible source ? Hell no if it was in print it would be on toilet paper.

you simply cant compare two players who hasn’t even gotten their senior debut to a 19 year old player who has already 3 international matches for italy regardless if the other two has talent it might not mount to anything, ever,
I do agree though that the money could and should be spend better as he deffently wont be available for 15 mil as atalanta propably would demand tripple that fee.
We already have Scalvini’s Style at Malick Thiaw : Good at defending, good passing, can dribble well. Modern-type CB. If Scalvini too expensive, just dont buy him. If we keep use 3 defenders, we already have 3 CB starters : Kalulu, Thiaw, Tomori. Wide-CB (Kalulu & Tomori) are very fast & aggresive, & Thiaw can be a Libero, he show us than he can dribble well, & pass well, very good traits for a Libero.
Please write off any milan rumour who involving money. We only move for free candidates

BS, Stanga isnt even with us anylonger as he joined lecco permanently n august and has up untill now played two serie c games and one coppa serie c match so surely he must be of equal quality of an italy internatonal who is also two years younger than stanga (sarcasmn)
