AC Milan and Inter have been given a boost in their pursuit of Sassuolo forward Gianluca Scamacca, according to a report.
Today’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (via TMW) speaks about the future of the 23-year-old Sassuolo striker, who is coveted by the big Italian clubs but also abroad. The paper writes that the striker will soon sign a renewal with the Neroverdi until 2026, with his pay rising from €400k net per season to €800k.
This is simply a strategy to strengthen Sassuolo’s negotiating position because in the summer he will still be goodbye to them and will join a club where he can compete for major honours.
Not only that, but Scamacca was clear with Sassuolo that he does not see a fitting solutions outside of Italy and therefore he wishes to remain in Serie A, which is a big boost for Inter and Milan who are the two main suitors in Italy.
Bad decision to Renew with just small salary. With that no Italian club’ are willing to pay sassoulo demand 40-50m euro for just local striker
