From Spain: Milan, Inter and Juventus monitoring situation of Barcelona forward

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are looking into options to reinforce their attacking department and they are monitoring Memphis Depay’s situation, a report claims.

According to what was reported by Fichajes.net (via MilanNews), Milan are among the Serie A teams that are monitoring Depay’s situation at Barcelona because the 28-year-old does not seem to be part of Xavi’s plans.

The report adds that Barcelona are willing to listen to the offers that will arrive for the Dutchman in the summer as they look to continue overhauling their attack, while he could be useful for Milan given he can play on the wing, as a centre-forward or as a second striker.

Depay has 10 goals and 2 assists in 21 league appearances this season and is undoubtedly a player of great quality, with the source mentioning that Inter and Juventus are also evaluating him. The former PSV and Lyon man has a contract that expires in June 2023, and he currently earns around €5m net per season.
