AC Milan and Inter have been linked with a move for Arsenal striker Folarin Balogun who is currently on loan in France, a report claims.
As has been reported by Pianeta Milan, the idea of Milan making a move for the 2001-born striker is gathering pace after his impressive performances in Ligue 1.
Balogun is currently on loan at Stade Reims and so far he has got 10 goals and two assists in 16 league games in Ligue 1, making him one of the best strikers in the league on form.
He is a product of the Arsenal academy but could not impress when loaned to Middlesbrough. He has found his feet at Reims though and now he is being linked with much bigger clubs.
Inter have their sights set on him for a permanent move in the summer but so do Milan. It is believed that he could cost around €40 million but that could rise if his form continues.
€40 million? Sure. He’s a €10 million player. Stop dreaming up insane valuations.
Truth is 40m is what 10m was 10 years ago. Inflation has hit everything including the football transfer market. 20m is a bargain basement transfer fee these days.
€40 million is the price for EPL clubs. If an EPL club isn’t interested, these values are much lower. Balogun was on loan at my hometown club Middlesbrough, he’s very average. El-Hilali is already a better player.
