Report: Milan, Inter and Real Madrid all want River Plate midfielder with €25m clause

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have been credited with interest in a move for River Plate midfielder Enzo Fernandez along with their city rivals Inter.

Fichajes.net in Spain are reporting that Fernandez’s ability to adapt to multiple positions in Marcelo Gallardo’s River Plate side is attracting the interest of a number of clubs, and the 21-year-old is continuing to show that he is developing into a fantastic talent.

However, River Plate will not let him leave in the middle of the season in South America and therefore he can only leave if his €25m release clause is met, otherwise a very difficult negotiation with the Buenos Aires side awaits.

Real Madrid are one of the teams that has been following him closely for several weeks and they have scouted him heavily, providing positive reports on his progress, but both Milan and Inter are keeping an eye on his development too as both want to bolster their midfield.

  1. Actually, we have. The boy would want playtime and with the departure of Kessie and Bakayoko, he could get it in Milan, while it would be much harder to compete against Modric, Kroos, Casemiro, Camavinga, Valverde, and Ceballos.

  2. Transfer Markt valued him @ €6m, the person asking for €25m is a thief.

Prioritize him though but don’t pay more than €8m.
