AC Milan are interested in signing Barcelona academy forward Ilias Akhomach who could be available on a free transfer, a report claims.
Akhomach predominantly plays as a right winger but he is currently having his path to the first team blocked by Ousmane Dembele and the summer signing Raphinha, and SPORT report that while Barcelona have been trying to convince the 18-year-old to sign a new deal for some time they are yet to find an agreement.
Akhomach’s agent recently met Barca’s directors for talks but what is currently being offered to extend is not sufficient economically for all parties to agree, and in the background Milan have been monitoring the situation.
The Rossoneri are watching on and are ready to pounce on any opportunity to sign the teenager on a free transfer if he were to not renew his deal with the Catalan side, even guaranteeing first team minutes to him.
Akhomach would like to stay at the Camp Nou for his part, but twists and turns in the coming weeks and months cannot be ruled out.
Yep I’d rather this guy over Zaniolo
Ditto.
