Romano: ‘Final package’ for ‘club record sale’ – Milan ready to send new Jashari bid

AC Milan are ready to improve their offer for Ardon Jashari and they hope it will be enough to get Club Brugge to finally accept.

As the Charles De Ketelaere signing three years ago showed, negotiating with Club Brugge is not an easy task. The talks over Jashari have been a back-and-forth just as they were for the Belgian playmaker, with the main thing being that the player wants the move.

Naturally Brugge are standing firm to get the price they want for the MVP of the Belgian league in 2024-25, which is widely reported to be €35m plus bonuses. Milan have not met it yet, but another relaunch is being planned.

Milan ready another Jashari bid

The latest update comes from Fabrizio Romano on his X feed: “AC Milan are set to improve their proposal for Ardon Jashari. Final package to get close to the club record sale for Club Brugge with Charles De Keteleare. It happens after player’s position very clear: he only wants join Milan.”

Romano’s colleague Matteo Moretto reported yesterday that there is currently a €5m gap between the fixed amount that the Rossoneri last put forward (€30m) and the requests of the Belgian side. We’ll see if the new raised proposal finally brings an end to the saga.

    1. Same brother. I won’t lie and say I’ve seen him play often, but he seems highly rated by others as well. So I’m glad.

      1. Honestly, I feel same way, would have preferred Hjulmand or Palhinha combative style player for DM, but almost everyone seem to have a good review of him, I haven’t really watched him play, and personally I’m indifferent after watching his YouTube highlights.

But I take solace in that, top clubs are or were after him. I remain confident we will get him, and I’m optimistic he will be great for us.

        1. You can never trust Youtube highlights, but honestly his got me excited. Per youtube, he seems to have everything we need – Combative, great long range passes, playmaking,… But of course it’s the Belgian league, so who knows.

  1. Mandragora is available for 10-15 mil, Italian, 28 years, a DM is a steal. Can easily serve another 4-5 years.

  2. Dortmund want him too, their scout are very excellent to find young talent, ACM must fast before dortmund bid 40m euro ( they have money from selling unknown winger 65m euro to chelsea)

    1. Yes but Jashari only want Milan and will reject Dortmund, so if Milan offer 35 mil + 5 mil in bonuses Brugge will accept

    1. Yup. 40M seems like an overpay indeed. He’s played only in Belgium so he’s not a proven player yet. Fingers crossed.

We bought Reindjers for 14m and now we will spend 40M on his replacement?

We always sell low and buy high LOL

      What a mess

I hope we get him, but admittedly, I like most others, have never seen him play and hope he adapts to Italian football quickly.

      1. Sell low buy high, pretty sure we bought low on Reindjers and sold high, given the 20m paid and the 70M return. If Tiji is sold again it won’t be close to 70M

        1. We sell OUR players below market value. Tonali was one Tiji is another. Look it up. Compared to deals for players like Rice, Lavia, etc…we sold low. 55M for Tiji from Man City is LOW. Man City lol. Bonuses may or may not get paid out and you may never see that money.

In this case 40M for Jasahri is HIGH. That is a fact. I hope/pray he is worth it.

Paid 28m for Chukuweze, 15M for Emerson, 35M for Gimenez, etc….all high and they have done nothing. I can list many more….god knows we have a list of Trash from Furlani

      2. Sell low, buy high. Sorry thats not ACM quote, maybe in berlusconi era but in elliot / RB era their quote buy low , sell high

    2. We are, but he’s young so even if he’s a flop, we’d get our money back as we did with CDK. It’s a risk worth taking. However, it also shows how bad management has been in squad building. Deals like this should be agreed in January, not in the summer mercato.

      1. They don’t have the money in January. They are able to buy him now because the FFP account has been registered as profit thanks to Fiji’s sale.

  3. Buy Dutch instead
MILAN have so much better luck with Dutch players Most of them are winners when they play for Milan

  4. Why don’t Milan try to insert sell on clause 20-25% max in this negotiation? I think good enough for each part. Remember, Milan these day it’s American Milan, the players won’t end up his career at milan …

  5. Kluivert and Davids both them dlop at Milan but rise and being key players in others club. At least the Dutchman more talent than the Belgium.
