CM: Milan and Juventus reopen as potential destinations for Coutinho with Barcelona desperate to offload

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan and Juventus could come back into fashion as potential destinations for Barcelona playmaker Philippe Coutinho, reports claim.

The former Liverpool and Inter star seems to be less and less of a part of the plans for the Nou Camp side moving forward as he made just 12 appearances in LaLiga for them last season – scoring 2 goals and adding 2 assists – while he has appeared just twice this season.

According to a report from Calciomercato.com, Barca are willing to send Coutinho out on loan in January in order to save money, also paying a large part of his mega salary just in order to get him off the books for a while.

The report adds that the Brazilian was offered to Milan and Juve during the summer transfer window but neither decided to pursue anything serious. Despite this, the incredibly favourable economic conditions could also reopen the possibility of a move to the San Siro or to Turin.

    1. Coutinho was a very good player wen he was at Liverpool since we left Liverpool for Barça we never hit that lvl of performances that he hit wen at Liverpool!I prefer other young player whit low wages and room to grow i dont think Coutinho would be a good player for us!

      1. He is a top player, stop talking nonsense. I’ve watched him in the last few matches, better than anyone we have or were linked with in that position. Getting him on loan while Barcelona pays for part of his wages sounds like a newspaper story, anyone rejecting it would be an idiot.
