AC Milan’s scouts are once again active in South American and they are watching talented Palmeiras midfielder Danilo, a journalist has claimed.
According to journalist Rudy Galetti, both Milan and Juventus are watching Danilo dos Santos de Oliveira of Palmeiras – better known as just Danilo – and both clubs have observed the Brazilian midfielder on numerous occasions.
He currently has a valuation of €25m given that Brazilian sides are able to command a premium if an auction breaks out across the ocean in Europe, and it is perhaps not a surprise given that Danilo has been a regular in Palmeiras’ midfield for over a year since he was 18.
He has made 10 appearances so far in the 2022 season and predominantly plays at the base of the midfield meaning he is very much a legitimate option either for the double pivot if Stefano Pioli sticks with the 4-2-3-1 or to be a regista if a transition to more of a 4-3-3 is made.
