CM.it: Milan and Juventus eyeing Palmeiras talent aiming to follow Endrick’s path

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are one of two Italian clubs who are keen on signing Palmeiras forward Luis Guilherme, according to a report.

Calciomercato.it report that Guilherme is looking to follow in the footsteps of Endrick, with whom he played in the U17s of Brazil and who recently signed for Real Madrid for a figure of €60m plus bonuses.

The 16-year-old Palmeiras talent is forging ahead on his own path and he is youngest player among the 23 called up by Brazil’s U20 head coach Menezes for the South American Championship taking place in Colombo.

Guilherme is attracting the interest of Milan and Juventus but neither of the two have so far taken concrete steps to and him. The teenager signed his first professional contract in June with a deadline of 2025 and it includes a release clause worth €55m.

That is a figure they could well demand given how much Endrick went for, and the other obstacle for Milan and Juve is that there is Premier League interest, specifically from Chelsea who just bought Andrey Santos from Vasco da Gama.

Luis Guilherme’s potential is compared to Endrick given he is just five months younger, so the Rossoneri will have to act quickly if they want to avoid being part of an auction, one that – if English clubs are involved – they are unlikely to win.
