Mirror: Milan among three Italian clubs interested in Man Utd outcast Lingard

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are one of the potential destinations for Manchester United playmaker Jesse Lingard ahead of the summer, a report claims.

According to the Mirror, Lingard has three options on the table in Serie A and the England international is tempted by the idea of moving to Italy after seeing the likes of Chris Smalling and Tammy Abraham revive their careers with Roma, with Fikayo Tomori now a mainstay in the Milan side.

Milan and Juventus are keen on Lingard while Jose Mourinho would like to reunite with the 29-year-old in the capital. As a free agent opportunity, Lingard is an attractive opportunity despite the fact he has struggled for playing time this season.

He scored 9 goals in 16 games while on loan at West Ham last season and was recently pictured with former team-mate and current Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic in Milano, which could be some kind of a transfer hint.
