Tuttosport: Milan will keep their word to Tonali and reward him for an excellent second season

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are willing to keep their word and will reward Sandro Tonali for his performances this season with an increased deal, a report claims.

This morning’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanNews) recalls how last summer Tonali reduced his salary to €1.2m net per season in order to stay at the club. Milan were in negotiations with Brescia at the time to reduce the overall costs of the operation after a first season with some difficulties.

However, as part of that there was the promise that there can be discussions in the future to raise that €1.2m net again. The young midfielder’s season has been excellent so far and the Rossoneri – at the end of the season – will review the agreement as they said they would, rewarding him with a new and richer deal.

Tonali has become virtually undroppable to Stefano Pioli and has fought his way back into the Italian national team too, showing he has fully settled in his second campaign.
