AC Milan have encountered further complications in their bid to construct a new stadium even despite the switch to a new site, a report claims.
As reported by the Milan edition of La Repubblica (via PianetaMilan), the environmental obstacles, the political and bureaucratic delays and the reaction of the residents in general have put a spanner in Milan’s plans to build a new stadium at La Maura.
Milan appear to have put their foot on the brakes as they have not yet delivered the project that Mayor Beppe Sala said would be ready for Easter, a sign that perhaps there are some reflections currently ongoing among the ownership.
The fact that Gerry Cardinale was not present at Milan’s 1-0 win over Napoli on Wednesday night due to other commitments that came up suggest things are not advanced.
Meanwhile, Sala and the Council are now expected to write officially to both Milan and Inter to understand the real intentions with the original San Siro project
Good, they will be able to rest and prepare for TUESDAY.
Wow, didn’t see this coming🙄. Sesto San Giovanni please. Stop wasting time.
