Di Marzio: Milan striker heading to work with Miroslav Klose in Austria on loan

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are expected to send young striker Marko Lazetic out on loan to the Austrian Bundesliga, according to a report.

According to reports from Di Marzio, everything has been resolved regarding Lazetic’s loan move from Milan to Altach, the Austrian Bundesliga side coached by former Lazio striker Miroslav Klose.

The 18-year-old Serbian youth international would also join a former Milan Primavera team-mates there in Andreas Jungdal, the Danish goalkeeper who made the same move at the beginning of the winter window, also on loan.

It is worth remembering that Klose came on a visit to Milanello last season in order to shadow the work of head coach Stefano Pioli and his coaching staff, having worked under Pioli while he was Lazio boss.

The deal is possible since the market in Austria is open until Monday 6 February, and it could well give Lazetic the opportunity to show off with more consistent playing time.
