MN: Milan leaning strongly one way as they ponder Brahim Diaz’s loan spell

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are unlikely to end Brahim Diaz’s loan spell from Real Madrid early and should keep him for next season, a report claims.

The Spaniard had a fantastic ending to last season and thus Milan decide to renew his loan, also adding a buy-out clause in the deal. However, his second season did not go to plan despite an electric start in which he scored 4 goals in his first 9 appearances, as he failed to score after netting the winner against Spezia last September.

This had led to speculation that his two-year loan could be cut short and that he may return to the Spanish capital. According to a report from Antonio Vitiello of MilanNews however, Brahim Diaz is likely to be kept and therefore will have the second season of his loan with the Rossoneri.

In his tweet Vitiello adds that Marco Asensio continues to be of great interest to the management of Milan but the operation is very difficult because of the salary demands and the competition.
