CorSera: Milan let down by their best players again during Salernitana draw

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan failed to capitalise on the momentum from the result against Spurs and their rivals dropping points as they were held to a 1-1 draw by Salernitana last night.

As Corriere della Sera (via MilanNews) write this morning, even the supposed best players had many difficulties for the Rossoneri despite the fact they were facing an opponent in 16th place in the league.

Theo Hernandez pushed very little compared to the game in London where he was a menace and drew a red card from Cristian Romero, Brahim Diaz almost never did anything in possession, while Rafael Leao’s performance was ‘irritating’ and even drew some groans from the crowd.

The only one to respond to the occasion was Olivier Giroud, who scored with a nice header from a corner, but unfortunately that goal wasn’t enough for the Diavolo to bring home the three points as the defence was all at sea for Boulaye Dia’s equaliser.

  1. Sell leao I’m tired of watching him at this point. Money from him can revamp the attack. We all know it. Maldini, Massara, Pioli, the fans. We all can clearly see it.

      1. Maybe I’m slow or something but wtf does that mean? Unless you think leao being sold to buy both Sassuolo wingers. That what you mean? Cause I agree
