Fabrizio Romano is the latest to suggest that AC Milan will be priced out of a deal for Chelsea’s Nicolas Jackson.
It has been publicly announced by Milan that they want a striker. With last season’s options Alvaro Morata, Tammy Abraham and Luka Jovic not here any more, winter signing Santiago Gimenez is the only remaining centre-forward in the squad.

Chelsea set demands high
Earlier today, Kieran Gill – a Chelsea reporter for the Daily Mail – stated that the Blues believe he is a ‘potential £100 million striker’. Of course, this equates to €115m, which is a completely outlandish figure for the Rossoneri.
Fabrizio Romano, speaking on his YouTube channel, gave an update on the story that Milan are interested in signing Jackson and confirmed the idea that he would potentially cost too much.

“Milan really like Nicolas Jackson and were close to signing him from Villarreal. However, the costs are very high at the moment because Chelsea value him so highly. Things can change in the transfer market, but right now the costs are very high,” he said (via MilanNews).
Milan were actually linked with Jackson in the 2023 summer mercato, when he was playing for Villarreal in LaLiga. The management were apparently ready to pay the €35m release clause in his contract, Fabrizio Romano claimed at the time, but Chelsea’s offer was more lucrative.

When you feel like the news in this sight can’t get any worse 🤦🤦
115M for Nicolas Jackson??? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
That can only be a joke, obviously…
They dont want to sell that why
If milan is serious, they’ll go for guirassy, 30m for loan 40m to permanent him next summer
40m will not buy a top striker, if milan is serious, they’ll buy guirassy for expensive loan and permanent him next summer, e.g €30m for loan, €40m for permanent next summer
Sir, are you being serious?
Or you could just sign Jovic while he’s still free. Like a fan pointed out in a previous post, we don’t have European commitments and the bare minimum for Allegri is top 4 so I don’t think a massive rebuild is needed in that sense. I feel like we underperformed last season due to tactics and maybe individual errors not because we had a poor squad. Anyway, we’ll see what happens when the window finally closes.
Get him on a free/cheap loan and see if he’s worth 30M€ next summer. 😛
Another waste of money
I don’t get the distaste for Jackson I see here, but the figures being quoted seem ridiculous.
Makes me wonder if it’s so that they can justify another bailout from Todd’s Saudi friends.
Chelsea have already signed three forwards, including two CFs – they’ll have to do some sort of deal for some of them eventually. I think we have too many midfielders but they currently have Nkunku, João Pedro, Jackson, Delap, Guiu and Broja on the books for that one position. The last two don’t make the squad but surely they can’t hang onto the other four. They’ll have to sell or loan at least one of Nkunku or Jackson surely.
MIlan is a Great DEI team!
Some folks said guirassy, Forget it!
But Milan is a coward when it faces in the league or when a player is on the way out of the club. hahaha
Please, please stay the heck away from this player, headless chicken on the pitch. Wtf is this team coming to ?
