Another report has emerged suggesting that Christian Pulisic is on the radar of Premier League giants with Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United now linked.

According to a report from the CaughtOffside Daily Briefing, Pulisic is wanted by the three aforementioned clubs who are each looking to bolster their attack for various reasons.

The USA international has already spent time in England having struggled with Chelsea, but he has found a new lease of life at Milan, contributing 11 goals and assists in 15 games so far this season after a brilliant debut campaign.

The new Manchester United boss Ruben Amorim likely sees Pulisic as ‘an upgrade on inconsistent performers like Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho’, with Antony expected to leave and pressure needing to be taken on Amad Diallo.

Liverpool meanwhile are top of the Premier League table and they have plenty of options in wide areas, yet there are doubts about the future of Mo Salah and thus the management will be taking precautions.

Arsenal were expected to be title challengers this season but have so far struggled, and fans are calling for investment to upgrade the left side where Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard have been up and down.

Nevertheless, the report goes on to mention that Milan categorically do not want to sell Pulisic given how important he is, and that an offer of minimum €65m would be needed to bring them to the negotiating table.

  1. Instead of issuing hands off warning they sent out invitations to bid. And they’re wondering how Inter are doing better than us. What a clown show.

    1. They sent out no such thing. Did you hear official communication from the club? No. We have American owners. Pulisic is American. The World Cup is in the USA. It would take a record bid to even consider letting him go.

      1. Lmao, what are you even talking about, there’s no such thing as “official communication from the club” in these sorts of situations.

I remember you, you were also confident that Fonseca won’t be our coach and that’s just media speculation. Was it because there was no “official communication from the club”?

      1. That’s an emotional approach. Getting even 65mil for a player they paid 20mil for is exactly the kind of justification their algorithms need. That’s over 3 times what they paid. Of course the price will go up even more if Puli stays consistent. 80mil+

The thing is though, I just think that if he goes back to England he will be a bust again.

        1. you do get mone but you also have a hole that needs to be filled. With 20M no doubt

sell puli for 65M and buy 3 wingers for 20M that wont match his output.
Slide down to conference league spots on the table.. (we already there atm)

          1. Exactly. The 100M€ is needed because Milan cannot replace him. They’d need to upgrade other players too to get the level of team to even stay roughly the same. Puli is way too important to be sold for 65M€.

  2. The writer pulled this number out of thin air, there’s no way we’d talk for less than €100 million. €100 million & Gapko and they have a deal.

  3. “Nevertheless, the report goes on to mention that Milan categorically do not want to sell Pulisic given how important he is, and that an offer of minimum €65m would be needed to bring them to the negotiating table.”

So you do want to sell at the right price – you’ve even stated the asking price. €65M is more important!

  4. I wouldn’t really worry too much about us selling Pulisic as I think he will be the last one to be sold with an American ownership and him being the flagship for the team. That is of course unless we get an exorbitant offer in the vicinity of 100 mil or above as his current valuation is around 55-60 mil.

  5. I don’t think he’s going back to the Prem, certainly not to some kind of pressure-cooker situation like Man U, like he had at Chelsea. The Prem is brutal and players will regularly just chop down a player like Pulisic. He’s much stronger in the lower body than he was 5 years ago, so harder to bring down, but it’s still not a great league for slight creative players. Now if they changed the rules to reduce the level of cynical fouls, maybe he’d consider it.

The reason he won’t go is that he’s already made a pile of money from his Chelsea contract and makes more in endorsements than he does in salary, so he’s already made life-changing money. So he has the luxury of playing places that are good for him, not just willing to pay him lots of money. Milan is good for him, good for his game, good for his life. So he’s staying, unless Milan completely falls apart. I think he’d potentially make an exception for Madrid or Barca and only one of those has the cash, so unless Madrid comes knocking with a Brinks truck, he’s staying put and we can ignore all of this noise. Give him a raise and extension and focus on getting the rest of the team sorted out.

  6. The owner is American. Pulisic is American, the captain of the USMNT, and is nicknamed Captain America. His being at Milan has incredibly boosted the popularity of the Milan brand in America. The next WC is in the United States.

Cardinale would be a complete fool to let him go. Even if another club were to offer top money, Cardinale would still miss all the merchandise sales and all the publicity in the years leading to the World Cup. Most likely the losses would be bigger than the money made by his sale minus the amount paid to have him.

See, Cardinale through his other businesses like the YES television network, other TV contracts (he owns a stake in the Paramount+ network which broadcasts Serie A to the USA) and summer games that Milan plays in the USA, makes a lot of money out of how popular in the United States AC Milan has become once we signed Puli.

Pulisic himself would be a fool to go to the EPL, as well. He is slightly built and was injury-prone in the physical EPL, while he is doing exceedingly well in Serie A and not getting injured in Italy.

Pulisic earns a lot from endorsements and advertising in the United States, likely much more than his annual salary at Milan so there would be no real interest for him in going back to the EPL to tank his career, for a bit more salary money.

I think this kind of article is just journalistic speculation with no basis in reality.

The special circumstance of Milan being owned by an American and Pulisic being by very far the most prestigious footballer in the United States, in my opinion makes it virtually impossible that Cardinale would agree with selling him to another club, even for a rather hefty offer.

I only see Cardinale agreeing with selling Pulisic in the possible dying months of his ownership of the club, in a situation in which he’d be already certain of selling the club to an Arab sovereign fund at short notice. In that case, Cardinale would have nothing to lose by selling Puli, and would want to cash in before selling the club away (which ultimately I believe to be his end game and objective).

While I agree that at Milan every player is for sale for the right price, I believe Pulisic to be the one exception to this rule, given that he generates other sources of income for the owner.

Gerry is a successful businessman. He is not dumb like some people here think. The issue with him is that his priorities are different from the supporters’ priorities. Gerry doesn’t care for trophies while the supporters do. He cares for money. Pulisic is money in the bank for him. Therefore he won’t sell Pulisic.

    1. Puli said time and time again that the most important is playing in the Champions League. He has a passion about winning another Champions League Trophy. If Milan stays in the Champions League next year (2025), Puli will stay, if not, he is gone. The Premier League treated him like crap
because he is American. Puli will be hesitant to go back to England.
