GdS: Milan could loan out midfielder in summer to raise his price

By Euan Burns -

AC Milan could loan Yacine Adli out in the summer so that he can play more regularly and build up his price tag ready for a sale, a report claims.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport (via Milan News), the Rossoneri are ready to bid farewell to Adli at least on a temporary basis with a view to a permanent sale.

Many were hopeful that Adli could be an important player for the team this season when he returned from his year on loan at Bordeaux, but he has had just 114 minutes of action over four games.

Milan invested €10 million in the French-Algerian midfielder and they would like to see some sort of return on that investment. Any loan would need to be one where he will play regularly so he can increase his transfer value.

Then Milan can begin to find suitors for a permanent sale or use him themselves.

  1. The guy has barely played. Yet players gets dussin of chances and fail to deliver. Yet they keep geting chances. It is time Pioli leaves. He has done a great job but we wont get further in development with him. Keep the kid and send the garbage players who actually has gitter the chance and fail

  2. 1 year ago, many youth players are excited to join MILAN. Now, they wouldn’t. They know that POLI generally takes 2 years to warm up to new players. They will see their career stagnate in Milan. Adil must have regretted signing up to Milan

    1. Pioli has developed and had significant improvements in Kalulu, Theo, Thiaw, Tomori, Tonali, Benny, Saelemakers, Leao, Kessie And almost all these are core players and under 25. You can’t say he doesn’t give chances to you or is unable to improve players. You can’t improve EVERYONE, this isn’t FIFA or FM

Most we needed to be patient with, as in, it took more than a year to find their feet.

    2. Did you watch him play? He was warming the bench at Bordeaux last year, and they dropped out to 2nd league. Signing for Milan will be the best move of his career, because he would be in 2nd French league now and he doesn’t look like he would playing…

  3. I think that adli stay or not is basically what Milan would do for diaz situation buy or let him return to real because real can actually use him

  4. why summer? they should let him go on loan last January. don’t think pioli going to trust him enough to give him chance until summer come. so why summer? his case is real mystery.

  5. Most of the players got there chances because they filled in for injured players, and not because the coach put them in the line up.

    1. True. Just look at how Kalulu FINALLY got his chance. It wasn’t due to his performances in the trainings. Pioli just ran out of available players.
