AC Milan have been offered the chance to sign Julian Alvarez from River Plate by his agent as the links with the Argentine continue, a report claims.
Today’s edition of Tuttosport (via PianetaMilan) writes that Fernando Hidalgo – the representative of the 21-year-old who was the top scorer for River Plate in their title winning season – has been in Milanp since last night to find accommodation for his client.
Alvarez racked up 18 goals and 7 assists in the league for Los Millonarios and can be signed if his €20m release clause is met, and it is likely that Hidalgo has offered Álvarez to Milan hence his visit.
The Rossoneri have been showing interest in the Argentine player for months even sending a scout to watch him, and the good news is that Inter are not currently interested in signing the Argentina international which could give Paolo Maldini and co. a clear patch.

I think we should get him. Reminds me of Aguero a bit, a true goalscorer that doesn’t take too many touches before shooting.
If we signed him I would genuinely shut up for 3 years about a striker being needed then we can buy as many CD as we want after that
Would be better not talking about him and just buying. Not only is he fast and technical with both feet and manages to create numerical superiority, but he can also score in any way. Obviously he would also need a period of adaptation to Italian football (from a tactical point of view), but I think he is perfect for Serie A. I take this opportunity to say that I would like to see Padre Pioli as our Ferguson.

Should consider his adaptability, considering milan currently does not have much argentinian/ south american in the squad, so we should learn from paqueta spell, he was also talented but did not work out because adaptibility issue. Unless we could recruit another experienced compatriot in the serie A might help him adapt quickly.
