Reports: Milan in meeting with Harder’s agent with decision expected – the latest

AC Milan are hoping to have a few things cleared up today regarding a move for Conrad Harder, the Danish Sporting striker.

Yesterday, with a move for Victor Boniface looking less and less likely, Milan stepped up their pursuit for Harder, and even had a deal effectively agreed in the latter stages of the evening, with a fee between €25-27 million discussed.

However, the Dane has not yet given his answer to the Rossoneri, who hope to give Massimiliano Allegri some much-needed reinforcement soon.

Meeting with the agent

This could change shortly, though. Earlier this morning, Gianluca Di Marzio wrote that a meeting between the player’s agent and the club would take place today to discuss the player’s salary expectations, as MilanPress relays.

Then, in recent minutes, MilanNews states that said meeting is underway, with the ‘last things’ being discussed. Additionally, the idea is to work on the striker’s salary, whilst also finding out his position, given that there are other clubs interested in the youngster.

A decision is expected later today, whether he will accept the rapid advancements made by the Diavolo. Considering how things are looking on the striker front, there is one answer that is really needed. If not, things could get questionable.

  1. Signing a 20 yr old do not make sense to me especially after we sent Camada on loan. Perhaps we should have retain him: he is italian, from youth section, played for senior team last season and so he does not need any adaptation, judt playing time. Instead of buying this Harder player, i think it is better to go an established striker with proven goals record and Serie experience and retain Gimenez too

    1. i totally agree with you. but still buying a 20yrs old striker doesn’t actually mean anything . IF he comes in he can make a breakthrough just like Pato did.

No body think of Pato to be decisive for Milan when he came with the proven and experience strikers in the team at that time.

If a 20yrs striker keep score 1-2 goal per match he will keep playing. IF Camarda manage to score 3 goals with the little chance given and not easily kick off the ball i think the management will not send him out on Loan.

if Harder comes and keep scoring we should roar for him and if not the management will handle it.

This present Milan environment is not for soft calm heart players. need to be mentally, physical and psychologically strong.

  2. Great. Challenging the scudetto with a Norway U21 striker. If Harder will be our final striker acquisition, than this mercato is officially a bust

  3. “Could get questionable”?
    Things are.
Allegri asked for a hold up striker. Gimenez and Camarda are not.
I don’t know this Harder guy, but his market worth is ca 25mln. He is very young and surely a gamble. But if he holds up play and turns out alright it could be a master stroke.
Someone name me a proven Serie A striker who holds up play besides Vlahovic and that could be a target for us?
We need our striker and we need him now! We already lost a must win game.

    1. Agreed.

Kiwior looks like he’s headed to Porto for 20-25M. He should have been a no brainer signing for us. Tomori Gabbia Pavlovic trio is average at best.

27M for Harder is a joke. 20 yr old kid who only scored 5 goals in 28 games in Portugal? May as well just kept Canada and saved the $$ or role the dice with Boniface for 5M loan w no obligation.

      What another fkn mess.

But this is what happens when you wait till the last few days of the window to get key players – your left with scraps
