AC Milan are set to miss out on another of their reported targets as Jakub Kiwior is heading for a medical before joining Arsenal, a report claims.
It was reported as recently as this morning by Corriere dello Sport (via MilanNews) that Milan’s technical director Paolo Maldini went to the Gewiss Stadium in Bergamo to watch the last 16 tie in the Coppa Italia between Atalanta and Spezia yesterday, to observe his son Daniel in action but also Kiwior.
However, Di Marzio and Fabrizio Romano are both reporting that Kiwior is now very close to saying goodbye to Serie A and joining the current Premier League leaders Arsenal in a deal that will be worth €25m plus bonuses.
The indiscretions first arrived from Polish site Meczyki and have now been confirmed, and now the 22-year-old will board a flight to London either tomorrow or Sunday to undergo his medical with the Gunners and sign a long-term deal.

Better in terms of what. The main thing is Kiwior (and Botman) share the contrary characteristic than Pierre. That’s why Maldini looking for that kind of CB from the very first day of summer TW. And hell, do we need one.

I would agree in general, but not in this particular case. We will not miss this guy. He is no Botman.
Right now we’re missing Romagnoli and he was warming our bench most of last season.

Romagnoli was awful and he would still be a welcome sight in our rotation, so saying Kiwior won’t be missed is just incorrect.
Though we did bring a young, promising and very competent CB. Pioli is already working hard to make Hauge out of him, along with Vranckx, CDK, Adli and Lazetic.
Sucks to have no money lol. Ya we made the right choice not going with the Arab investment LOL. I mean I would rather us be a poor club than one that can buy talented players 🤪🤪🤪
