After seeing Archie Brown snatched away by Fenerbahce, AC Milan could miss out on yet another full-back target.
According to Calciomercato.com, Milan are finding their pursuit of both a left-back and a right-back quite difficult, and they are in danger of seeing another option become irremediably complicated.

Given their difficulty convincing Strasbourg to lower their valuation of right-back Guela Doué from around €30m (including bonuses), the Rossoneri have begun to explore alternatives like Marc Pubill.
The Spaniard plays for Segunda Division side Almeria, and has a more accessible asking price than other options, but Wolverhampton Wanderers appear to have made a move in the last few hours.
Wolves make their move
According to Fabrizio Romano’s YouTube channel, the English club is pushing hard to beat out the competition and land the Spaniard. Despite a contract expiring in June 2029, after a failed summer 2024 move to Atalanta, Pubill has expressed to Almeria his desire to move to a bigger club.
Matteo Moretto meanwhile has given a brief update on X which confirms the news of his colleague, stating: “Wolverhampton are pushing to sign Marc Pubill.”

He is an Olympic champion with Spain, and his main strengths are physicality and ball progression. He finished last season with 36 league appearances and one goal, along with four more appearances in the Copa del Rey.
Pubill is valued at around €15m, and Juventus have also recently made inquiries about him, but Milan appeared more confident. Now, however, Wolves’ acceleration risks once again disrupting Igli Tare and Massimiliano Allegri’s plans for the flanks.

Another day in Paradise.
…aint no club out there who see Milan serious in the transfer market
Usually I’d be the first on their necks but these are players that don’t really excite. They’re no improvement but rather a downgrade. So I’ll be glad if they miss out. Goes for Archie too.
But the fact they sold and released our fullbacks without proper replacements lined up is another proof of this ownership and management incompetency. Of course excluding Tare. He’s not to be blamed here since he was hired way too late. Every summer it’s either same or worse from these clowns.
That’s good cause he’s no good.
Maybe someone should show the Milan directors how the pedals work as we haven’t seen them accelerating for anything yet. Unless you count selling Raindeers to City.
I think that they never buy talented players because they acting too slow. if we will investment at least to buy free agent players as Junior Firpo and Nelson Semedo, so it’s maximum what Mr Tare can do.
Why are we looking at foreign 2nd division players, is that all we can get ?? Would rather us get Zanoli or Zappa as right back, at least they have serie A experience and not that expensive, plenty for LB as well, Gallo or Parisi, so sick of us going for second rate foreigners over homegrown options, even if homegrown options aren’t as good as they have been in the past.
Tare still in love with Ricci & modric. He forget about left back and striker replacement. 🤣🤣🤣
Milan show us that sporting director is not useful. All decision is on Poorlani hand 🤣🤣
Not excited about Pubill. I think Fran Garcia and Doue are the best options for Left back and Right back.
They both are good defensively and going forward. Those are the 2 players I would like Milan to sign.
